Visiting grandma and grandpa

Gary's parents live full-time in a 5th-wheel. They sold their home about 2 years ago, bought this and they travel around the country in it. They mostly spend the winter in the south states where it is warm. During the summer, they stay at an rv park on the army post 25 minutes from our house. We took the puzzle that you sent, over there and they spent most of the time working on it. They had a lot of fun.

This picture was taken last week. We went to my favorite restaurant here in Orting called the "Park Bench Cafe". They have the BEST sandwiches. Koyuri and I each ordered a different kind of sandwich and then split them so we had one of each kind of sandwich...Tuna Melt and BLT (bacon, lettuce and tomato).

Koyuri went on a "field trip" with her choir class last week. They went to the Ocean.

Mother's Day

The day before Mother's Day, us girls went and got pedicures. It was a great girls day out.

On Mother's Day, Gary's parents came over on their motorcycle and took all the kids out for a ride.

I got to pick whatever I wanted for dinner. I chose to have a typical "Thanksgiving Meal". Gary's parents were out state for Thanksgiving last November, so I thought it would be nice to do it again with them. Besides, it is one of my favorites!!!!

Turkey.......

stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes (Koyuri really liked those), black olives, cranberry bread, rolls, creamed corn, and cranberry sauce.....yummy!
