Theresa left for Germany

Theresa returned to Germany today. This is a picture of all the kids at the airport right before she dissappeared through security.

On Saturday, we went to our friends home to share dinner and a movie. They have a 7 month old boy named Eoin. We ate homemade pizza and watched The Swiss Family Robinson.

Cookies for the FireFighters

Today I took the kids to the Orting Fire Department so that they could bake peanut butter cookies for the firefighters. We try to do this once in awhile as a community service and to show our appreciation for those in our community that risk their lives to keep us safe. The kids enjoy it....and I'm pretty sure the firefighters do as well.

Miss Auburn Pageant Preview

On Tuesday, January 20th. Koyuri and I attended a Pageant preview for Miss Auburn. My cousin Anne is competing in this pageant and isn't she beautiful. Her sister Devanni is currently Miss Seattle. Should Anne win Miss Auburn, they will be competing together for Miss Washington this summer. Of course, the winner goes on to compete for Miss America!

Flood Evacuation

On January 7th, the rivers rose quickly and we had to evacuate our home. This was just a precaution since the rivers were coming up so fast. We went to stay with some friends who live on higher ground. They were very generous to take us in, as there are currently 7 of us and our big dog. Everything turned out fine, our house is dry and everyone is fine. God is good!
